Elon Musk introduced Flying Tesla

Elon Musk, the richest person in the world and CEO of electric vehicle giant Tesla, introduced the redesigned version of his electric sports car Roadster.

The new two-seater Roadster, developed in collaboration with Musk's space and aviation company SpaceX, performed incredible maneuvers during the demonstration.

The car moved upside down using a vacuum system on a ramp at the SpaceX test site in McGregor, Texas, then rolled over and landed by floating in the air thanks to its rocket boosters.

In another scene, the car stopped in front of the vehicles lined up side by side, took off, overturned and overcame the obstacle.

In his statement at the launch, Elon Musk said that the Roadster can reach a speed of 96 kilometers per hour in less than a second and reach a maximum speed of over 370 kilometers per hour.

Tesla introduced the prototype of the car in 2017 and announced that deliveries would begin in 2020.

Musk did not announce a target price for the car at the event. Tesla announced the starting price of the model as 200 thousand dollars about 10 years ago.

On the Roadster reservation page opened by Tesla after the event, the "Performance" version, which requires a deposit of 50 thousand dollars, and the "Thrust" version, which has "acceleration thrusters" and requires a deposit of 250 thousand dollars, were included.

Musk created high expectations by saying that the four-seater Roadster, which was first announced in 2017 and whose deliveries were postponed many times, could travel 1000 kilometers on a single charge.
