52-year-old entrepreneur has dream of a trailer come true and goes viral

The delivery of a trailer to entrepreneur Rosilda do Socorro Quaresma Silva, 52 years old, had repercussions on social media in Macapá last week and moved thousands of people. The surprise video, made by the daughter, showed the realization of a dream after more than 30 years of selling breakfast in an improvised way, in tents and carts.

"I do it because I love it. I like serving people and giving them joy. This is rewarding for me", says Rosilda.

The dream come true

Rosilda always said she wanted a trailer to work in more comfort, without worrying about the rain. On her birthday, which coincided with Mother's Day, her daughter Renata Adriana, 30, decided to surprise her: she bought the trailer with the help of family and friends and revealed the gift in front of the cafe.

“Mom always told everyone that her dream was to have a trailer, that she could go in and work in. I was very worried about the rain, it made me sad to see her work like that,” said her daughter Renata.

The scene was recorded and quickly went viral on social media in Macapá. The video received hundreds of comments of support and admiration for the family's story.

"It was very emotional for me, it was a dream. I asked God a lot for it", said Rosilda.

The origin of the coffee shop

Rosilda started selling tapioca and coffee in Belém (PA), in her father's garage. Later, he moved to Macapá (AP), where he started working alongside his daughter, Renata, who was 13 years old at the time.

And it was in Belém, in Rosilda’s father’s garage, that the name “Forninho” came about, as the family called the small, warm space where she worked. The affectionate nickname went through the years and ended up naming the coffee shop in Macapá.

"In front of my father's house there was a two-burner stove and there I only sold tapioca", said Rosilda.

The café is run jointly by the family, the brothers help with the preparation of cakes and savory snacks, such as potato bread and carrot cake, as well as helping with customer service.

The difference, according to the family, is the close service and the food prepared with care.
