EPTV Sul de Minas begins series of interviews with candidates for the government of Minas Gerais for the 2026 elections

Candidate Cleitinho Azevedo (Republicans) is already at the headquarters of EPTV Sul de Minas, in Varginha (MG), for the interview later, which starts at 11:45 am on EPTV 1.

Good morning, EPTV Sul de Minas continues this Tuesday (1st) with a series of interviews with candidates for the government of Minas Gerais. This Tuesday's guest candidate is Cleitinho Azevedo (Republicans).

Candidate Patrus Ananias (PT) will be the first interviewee in the series of interviews that EPTV 1 starts showing from this Monday (31). He arrived at the station accompanied by his advisors.

The other candidates, who did not meet the criteria for participation: Ben Mendes (Missão), Flávio Roscoe (PL), Henrique Areas (PCO), Indira Xavier (UP), Professor Túlio Lopes (PCB) and Rafael Duda (PSTU), will be able to give recorded interviews, with a shorter time. This content will be shown on the same news program on a date yet to be defined.

As defined in a meeting with representatives of the parties competing in the election this year, the choice of invited candidates followed the criteria of those who presented 5% or more of voting intentions in the Quaest survey released on August 25th.

The duration of the interviews will be 30 minutes without a break. The candidates will be live in the news studio with presenters Suzana Siega and Velber Viana.

EPTV Sul de Minas, an affiliate of Rede Globo, will be showing, starting this Monday (31), a series of interviews with the candidates competing for the government of Minas in the 2026 elections. The interviews will be live and take place on EPTV 1, starting at 11:45 am.
