Erdoğan's provincial trips are increasing, election debates continue

While it is wondered when the elections will be held, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has recently increased his provincial trips for "mass opening ceremonies". The release of a video of Erdoğan playing basketball last week, who said "I reiterate my belief that we will successfully get through the upcoming elections" in his hometown Rize, also drew attention.

In these opening programs that Erdoğan attended, he gave examples from the past, as he often does during election periods, and used expressions such as "As an SSK worker, this brother of yours has suffered a lot in the past, just like you. He could only speak the language of the old Türkiye", which comes to mind: "Will there be an early election?" brought the question.

On the other hand, the staff emphasized that "The election to be held should not be for show" and drew attention to municipal transfers, the arrest of elected presidents, especially the arrest of Presidential Candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu, and practices such as the one in Üsküdar.

Drawing attention to President Erdoğan's statement in his travel programs, "We are never a party to the fights or taunts between the opposition," the party members said, "They are trying to make up for themselves and create a perception with transfers and operations. They have a depleted image. However, people know that it is the government itself that makes a coup against the opposition and defeats the main opposition, which is a candidate for power. There should be a free election in Turkey. An election in which the elected officials are not detained and there is a free race. Despite everything, we want the election." he said.

NEW Party's deputies, who gave examples from their ongoing field work, said: "Erdogan cannot win the hearts of the people by cutting two ribbons. Let him see the situation he thinks he is. There is no expectation on the street that Erdogan will solve the economic crisis. Schools are opened today, we are talking to people; they tell how difficult it is for them to pay their child's school fees, clothing expenses and bag expenses. They talk about school expenses exceeding 20 thousand liras. Erdogan should talk to people instead of cutting a ribbon." he said.

Speaking about scenarios such as the NEW Party not being included in the election in the event of a dominant election, the MPs said, "We are making our plans according to all kinds of traps. We know that they can do anything. We have plans to defeat them. As long as the nation is with us, no one can stand in the way of the nation."
