Fenerbahçe statement from Ersun Yanal: "My side is Fenerbahçe, not individuals"

Coach Ersun Yanal published a statement upon the reactions following his words while evaluating Fenerbahçe's current situation. Yanal emphasized in his statement that he focused on the success of the club, not individuals.

Yanal stated that he had previously heavily criticized İsmail Kartal and Aziz Yıldırım, and that he found the attitude of those who suddenly became defensive in response to these criticisms thought-provoking. Yanal said, "It is thought-provoking that those who heavily criticized İsmail Kartal and Aziz Yıldırım just a few days ago have suddenly become defenders. I do not change my mind depending on people or the agenda."

Arguing that Fenerbahçe's interests should be prioritized above all else, Yanal noted that the club should now be a champion and should not accept mediocrity. Yanal stated that his words should not be distorted and that his fans belong to Fenerbahçe, not to individuals.

In his statement, Yanal said, "Fenerbahçe must now be a champion and not accept mediocrity. Do not let my words be distorted. My side is Fenerbahçe, not individuals."
