September 2026 Confidence Indices Announced

The seasonally adjusted confidence index remained unchanged in the service sector in September 2026, remaining at 111.9. While the confidence index increased by 1.1 percent in the retail trade sector, reaching 111.3, it decreased by 0.2 percent in the construction sector and reached 83.0.

TRUST INDEX IN THE SERVICE SECTOR HAS NOT CHANGED

The service sector confidence index was 111.9 in September, unchanged from the previous month.

In the last three months, the business situation index increased by 1.1 percent to 110.2. In the last three months, demand for services increased by 0.4 percent and reached 109.7.

The demand expectation for services in the next three months decreased by 1.3 percent to 115.9.

CONFIDENCE IN RETAIL TRADE INCREASED BY 1.1 PERCENT

The retail trade sector confidence index increased by 1.1 percent in September and reached 111.3.

In the last three months, business volume-sales increased by 0.4 percent to 114.5. The current goods stock level index decreased by 1.3 percent to 91.4.

Business volume-sales expectation in the next three months increased by 3.5 percent to 128.0.

TRUST HAS DECREASED IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

The construction sector confidence index decreased by 0.2 percent in September to 83.0.

The current level of recorded orders received increased by 1.9 percent to 80.4. The expectation for the total number of employees in the next three months decreased by 2.1 percent to 85.5.

An increase in the current goods stock level index indicates a stock decrease, and a decrease indicates an increase in stock.
