Damage to military bases and vital installations in the Gulf after attacks by drones and missiles

Planet Labs images analyzed by the American ABC network showed severe damage to the headquarters of the US Navy's Fifth Fleet in the Bahraini capital, Manama, including the destruction of several large buildings and two satellite communications stations, while the Bahraini Ministry of Interior confirmed that a drone targeted a nearby port.

The Ali Al-Salem base in Kuwait, which hosts American forces, was damaged, as satellite images taken on Sunday showed signs of several buildings being hit by shells, with varying degrees of destruction. Low-resolution images also monitored damage to the Camp Buhring and Camp Arifjan bases in Kuwait.

In the Emirates, Planet Labs photos showed fires in Jebel Ali Port in Dubai, where the UAE Ministry of Defense announced that the country was exposed to 165 ballistic and cruise missiles and 541 drones, with the vast majority of them intercepted, while a large fire broke out in Sharjah, and marches targeted hotels in Dubai, according to the Government Information Office.

In Saudi Arabia, pictures from Vantor showed a fire in the Ras Tanura refinery, the largest refinery in the Kingdom and one of the largest global refineries, as the Saudi Ministry of Defense confirmed the interception and destruction of two drones that attempted to attack the refinery, indicating that the fire was caused by falling fragments from the interception process, and not from the drone itself.
