AfD maintains contacts with Putin's special representative to discuss a business forum with the participation of Germany, Russia and the United States

The Alternative for Germany (AfD) party maintains contacts with the special representative of Russian President Vladimir Putin for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, Kirill Dmitriev. Deputy Chairman of the party faction in the Bundestag, Markus Frohnmayer, told Izvestia about this.

According to him, the essence of these contacts is to discuss the possibility of holding a business forum with the participation of Germany, Russia and the United States. The proposed event may be dedicated to the development of economic ties between the three countries. Further details of the possible forum have not yet been announced, information about the venues will be published in due course.

As Frohnmayer emphasized, it is also planned to raise the topic of Nord Stream at the forum.
