Human legs were discovered at a resource recycling site in Incheon, South Korea. The police launched an investigation.

Scary! The South Regional Living Resource Recycling Center in Songdo-dong, Yeonsu District, Incheon City, South Korea, was surprised to see a human leg that had been severed from the knee down when sorting on the 10th. Judging from its length, the deceased may be a student or a woman. The police have notified nearby schools to confirm whether any students have not come to class for a long time.

Comprehensive Korean media reports indicate that this recycling site collects about 40 tons of resource recycling waste every day from Jung-gu and Yeonsu-gu in Incheon City. At about 2:28 pm on the 10th, an employee touched a calf wrapped in a bandage while performing manual sorting. He initially thought it was a mannequin, but upon closer inspection, he realized something was wrong and immediately reported the matter.

After the police arrived at the scene, they measured the leg and found that the length of the human leg from the cut below the knee to the heel was 41 centimeters, and the length of the sole was 21 centimeters. It was initially speculated that the deceased was a woman about 160 centimeters tall. However, because the dismembered parts may have shrunk due to dehydration and dryness, the exact gender and body shape are still under investigation.

Incheon Yeonsu Police Station established a task force composed of 64 police officers. It was found that this batch of waste was transported from the afternoon of the 9th to the morning of the 10th. After searching, there were no other body parts. A total of 34 resource recovery vehicles entered and exited during this period. The driving recorders of relevant vehicles will be reviewed in the hope of clarifying where the human legs were transported.
