State Duma deputy Zhuravlev called for fighting in Ukraine “at full force”

The Ukrainian authorities, with their attacks on civilian infrastructure, ensured that Russia began to respond in kind, said First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Defense Alexey Zhuravlev. He gave a comment to Lenta.ru.

Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said that over the past year the nature of the conflict in Ukraine has changed and developed into a “war of annihilation.” He called for preventing further spread of the conflict and new tragedies.

“It was necessary to do this from the very beginning, but they decided - without war, a special military operation, they conducted it with one hand and with white gloves, so as not to accidentally hit someone from the civilian population, for some reason believing that in Ukraine people in large numbers are unlikely to support Nazism,” Zhuravlev said.

The deputy added that now we need to fight at full strength, destroying everyone who fights against Russia and helps the enemy. According to him, Kyiv has repeatedly demonstrated its complete inability to negotiate, and it follows that they must be forced to capitulate or flee.
