Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank Stanislav Kuznetsov said that scammers are luring teenagers into droppership, promising easy money.

Involvement occurs mainly through game chats, where attackers use promises of easy money, intimidation or blackmail.

Kuznetsov noted that the worst thing in such cases is the involvement of young people in illegal activities.

VLADIVOSTOK, September 7 - RIA Novosti. Fraudsters lure teenagers into droppership, promising easy money for performing simple actions, Stanislav Kuznetsov, deputy chairman of the board of Sberbank, told RIA Novosti in an interview.

“Children are involved mainly through game chats. There are promises of easy money for performing simple actions or intimidation or blackmail, for example, they ask to send a photo on the street or geolocation, and then they report that the teenager “leaked the coordinates of an important strategic object,” he said in an interview at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).

Kuznetsov noted that in such cases the worst thing is not the loss of money, but the fact that young people can be drawn into illegal activities: dropperting or even committing crimes - arson, explosions or attacks.
