The 2026 Tainan City "Leap for Generations" Happiness Carnival was launched today (3rd). On the first day, with the theme of "Family and Child Adorkability", the YOYO family brothers and sisters, cartoon stars and Tainan mascots Caiqiya, Yeqiya and Yutoujun gathered together to sing, dance, parade and compete with children of all ages. The scene was lively. Tainan Mayor Huang Weizhe interacted with parents and families to have fun, kicking off the two-day event.

This year the event was moved to the CITIC School of Financial Management, and was expanded to a two-day event through inter-bureau cooperation between the Education Bureau and the Sports Bureau, with themes arranged according to different age groups. Huang Weizhe said that despite the hot weather, many families were still attracted to the event. He hoped that through performances, game experiences and publicity booths of various city government bureaus, parents could have fun with their children, gain access to childcare and municipal resources, and create memories for parents and children together during the weekend.
