FC Nantes: a sales agreement signed for the takeover of the club by a pool of investors

A new era is approaching. For several weeks, FC Nantes has been at the heart of negotiations to change ownership. Owned by the Kita family since 2007, the club should be sold to a pool of investors (from France, Portugal and Luxembourg) led by entrepreneur and sports advisor Paulo Tavares - at the head of Phenix sports invest -, according to information from the Team.

The sports daily ensures that a sales agreement was signed this Tuesday, leading to believe that the Kita era would indeed be about to end. However, the takeover of FC Nantes - estimated at 100 million euros - has not yet been done since this file will have to go before the club's works council and before the DNCG, which would constitute the last operation before the final sale.
