The founding meeting of the KMT Lianjiang County Mayor Wang Zhongming's campaign headquarters for re-election was held in Nangan Township today, including former county magistrate Liu Zengying, legislator Chen Xuesheng, Lianjiang County Assembly Speaker Zhang Yongjiang, deputy speaker Lin Mingyang, and Nangan Township Mayor Lin Local figures such as Wu Jinping, the mayor of Zhidong and Beigan townships, Chen Leli, the mayor of Juguang township, and Lin Dejian, the mayor of Dongyin township, as well as county councilors, villagers' representatives, village chiefs and representatives from all walks of life attended, showing the local community's concern for Matsu's public affairs and future development.

Local elders and gentry expressed their blessings with auspicious objects such as horses, rice dumplings, cabbage and garlic, adding traditional cultural features to the event.

Wang Zhongming said that he has devoted himself to public service for nearly half a century, from grassroots public service to county government leadership, and always hopes to do his part for his hometown. Looking back on the efforts made by successive county magistrates for the development of Matsu, from "Pearl of Eastern Fujian. Hometown of Hope" to "Peach Blossom Land on the Sea", "Make the Road Home Smoother" and "Healthy Island. Happy Matsu", each stage has different construction goals, laying an important foundation for today's Matsu. Four years ago, he proposed the policy concept of "Generation Relay, Sustainability of Happiness", hoping that through talent cultivation and system establishment, the younger generation will gradually assume the responsibility for local development.

Wang Zhongming detailed the achievements of county administration, from planning public services for birth, schooling, employment to elderly care. In terms of infant and child care, the maternity subsidy will be increased to RMB 30,000, RMB 60,000, RMB 90,000, and RMB 150,000, and public childcare and professional childcare services will be promoted. Youth and family policies include SBIR entrepreneurial guidance, joint weddings, social housing, Renai 147, and talent cultivation. In addition, facilities such as the Meishi Art and Culture Center, the County People's Lohas Gymnasium, Fu'ao and Jieshou three-dimensional parking lots, and the Dongju Tourism Building have been completed one after another, and the Dongju seawater desalination plant and transportation construction have also continued to advance.
