A fair for internal antennas for digital television will be held between Thursday (15) and Saturday (17), at Shopping Cerrado, in Goiânia. The event promises special prices and easy payment conditions for those who wish to purchase the equipment. Opening hours will be from 10am to 10pm, on the ground floor of the mall.
The Antena Interna Digital Feirão is coordinated by the Brazilian Association of Radio and Television Broadcasters (Abert), in partnership with the companies Intelbras and Aquário, with support from TV Anhanguera.
According to Pedro Augusto Pôssas, Institutional Relations analyst at Globo and member of Abert's project coordination team, consumers will also receive guidance on installing and using the equipment.
"People will be guided on the best way to position the antenna and how to search for channels", he explained.
Who needs an indoor antenna?
The internal antenna allows you to capture the open digital television signal without the need to purchase pay TV services. According to Pedro, televisions manufactured after 2010 that already have an integrated digital converter do not need an additional device to use the antenna.
However, operation depends on signal reception conditions in the location where the television is installed.
"There may always be limitations, precisely because it is an internal antenna, depending on the obstacles between the antenna and the TV tower", he explained.
Therefore, the position of the antenna inside the home can influence the quality of reception. During the fair, consumers will be able to ask questions about the appropriate positioning and search for available channels.
Pedro also highlighted that open digital television offers better image and sound quality, without charging a monthly fee.
"Digital TV has better sound, better image and is free", highlighted Pedro.
Stock and purchasing conditions
According to the organization, there will be no limit on antennas per consumer. Although stock available for immediate pickup is limited, it will be possible to make purchases with later delivery. Intelbras will sell three models of internal antennas during the fair, with a 20% discount. The main difference between the products is the length of the cable. Prices for each model have not yet been announced.
The fair will be held in front of the Polo Wear store, on the ground floor of Shopping Cerrado, located in the Aeroviário Sector.
