For French Binance customers, the home stretch has begun. In a new “Important Reminder” sent recently, the platform reminds that deposits are no longer accepted and that Binance France accounts will be closed on December 31, 2026. If you have an account with them, you must therefore withdraw your cryptos… then decide where to put them. Binance France: what the recall says
First of all, don't panic: your funds remain accessible despite the $6.1 billion hack that took place at the end of October. In its letter sent to its French customers, Binance simply reminds of the upcoming deadlines. Since June 30, 2026, deposits have been blocked, but withdrawals remain open. To encourage latecomers to act quickly, accounts still in credit will incur a fee of 0.025% of the balance per month (10 USDC minimum) starting November 29. On December 31, accounts are closed and assets not withdrawn could be considered inactive and then converted.
At issue: the absence of MiCA approval (the European framework for crypto platforms) at the end of the transitional period, June 30. Three dates to remember to get organized:
November 13: end of the 8% OKX bonus (see below);
November 29: start of Binance France fees;
December 31: closing of accounts.
The choice is now: 8% on your USDT converted into USDC at OKX
Waiting is not an option. And chance does things well, because if you are looking for an opportunity to move your tokens, OKX extends a helping hand.
Until November 13, the platform is offering you 8% bonus on deposited USDT that you convert to USDC. And the ceiling is more than generous: 50,000 USDT per person, or up to 4,000 USDC bonus (around €3,500), paid every two weeks for a year from November 21. The icing on the cake: conversion is free during the campaign.
How to benefit from it if you have funds at Binance? Convert them to USDT and send them to OKX! All you have to do is convert them into USDC to receive your 8% bonus. You can then convert your USDC as you wish without losing the bonus. The only rule to remember: withdrawals reduce the bonus. You remain free to trade.
Please note: you must absolutely click on “Participate” before making any deposit for it to be eligible (you can follow this link). And of course, you must have created an account on OKX beforehand.
Newcomers: up to €400 extra bonus
If you don’t have an account on OKX yet, you’re in luck! By going through our affiliate link, you combine the 8% bonus with a welcome bonus of up to €400. It takes the form of six missions, all cumulative. If you trade €10,000, you also receive the rewards from previous tiers!
You have 90 days after registration to complete these missions, before they expire.
Small clarification (important!): the “X-Perps Voucher” are vouchers which allow you to take positions on the X-Perps. Their value is that of the position opened with 5x leverage, not that of the margin. Concretely, a €100 voucher provides a €20 margin. You can only win: if the position opened with a voucher closes in loss, nothing is paid (and you pay nothing). On the other hand, if the position is winning, you pocket the profits generated (not the margin). Zero risk for you!
Registration and identity verification only takes a few minutes. If necessary, our step-by-step tutorial is there to support you.
Security and transparency: OKX opens its coffers
Before moving your funds, you will definitely want to make sure OKX is a safe platform. And unlike banks or other dubious platforms, OKX does not ask you to take its word for it. It provides you with proof, without the regulations requiring it to do so.
Since October 2022 and without interruption, OKX has published proof of reserves every month. The most recent report (early November) showed $27.8 billion in assets, with coverage rates of 108% for Bitcoin, 101% for Ethereum and 106% for USDT: the platform therefore holds more than it owes to its customers. With zk-STARK technology (a cryptographic proof that does not reveal any individual balance), you can even verify that your balance is included. We explain how to do it in this article.
OKX has also had MiCA approval since January 2025, and MiFID II and payment institution licenses. Client assets are therefore separated from OKX's own funds, and the majority of funds sleep offline.
“OKX Shield”: a free shield, to activate in 5 minutes
To ensure the security of your funds, OKX goes further than other platforms with “OKX Shield”. This voluntary program encourages you to implement all best security practices for your account and can reimburse you if a third party nevertheless takes control of your account. It is completely free, and the ceiling is €100,000 for average users (and up to €500,000 depending on your VIP level).
To activate it:
Go to the “More” tab then “OKX Shield”;
Check your already active measures, then add the others: access key, protection of large withdrawals, withdrawal limit, protection of web withdrawals;
Accept the conditions and click “Activate OKX Shield”;
That's all. All you have to do is keep these settings active. Deactivating a single one returns the protection to “Inactive”.
All services offered on a single account
Far from being limited to current bonuses, OKX offers Binance regulars a familiar and much more complete framework. You will have access to more than 310 cryptocurrencies, with spot fees of 0.08% / 0.10% (after answering the X-Perps questionnaire), but also to X-Perps and tokenized stocks. On the tools side, the platform brings together everything you could dream of with trading bots, yield products (Bitcoin included), a Mastercard payment card with cashback, etc.
And to get an idea without obligation, a demo mode allows you to test all the features without risk. Up to you !
