Festival of Nations takes place at Emissário Submarino in Santos until Tuesday

The New Quebra-Mar, in José Menino, in Santos, hosts the Festival of Nations until Tuesday (8). The free event brings together international gastronomy, creative economy and cultural attractions, from 11am to 10pm, at Emissário Submarino.

During the five days, the public will be able to try dishes inspired by different cultures, including Mexican and Korean cuisine. Handcrafted sweets, drinks and other products will also be for sale.

The program will include musical performances, dance and Portuguese folklore events. For children, there will be a kids space. Entrepreneurs from the creative economy will also occupy stands set up on site.

The Festival of Nations is organized by Bazar Arte&Fato, with support from Santos City Hall, through the Secretariat of Communication and Creative Economy (Secom).

Fixed fairs

In addition to the festival, Santos has permanent fairs focused on crafts and the creative economy.

On Saturdays, FeirArte Boqueirão runs from 5pm to 9pm, on the beach promenade, in front of Avenida Conselheiro Nébias.

On Sundays, at the same time, FeirArte Aparecida takes place at Praça Caio Ribeiro Moraes e Silva, in front of Sesc.

In the Historic Center, Feito em Santos Valongo is open on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, from 11am to 5pm, in front of Valongo Station.

Loja Feito em Santos opens from Wednesday to Saturday, from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm, at Casa do Artesão, located in Casa do Trem Bélico, at Rua Tiro Onze, 11.
