FIGC sends UEFA the dossiers of 13 cities and 14 stadiums for the Euro 2032 bid

Thirteen cities, fourteen stadiums: the Football Federation today sent to UEFA, within the established deadlines, the dossiers of the venues deemed suitable to continue the application process to host the Euro 2032 matches.

The president of the FIGC, Giovanni Malagò, sent the number one of the highest continental football body, Alexander Ceferin, the formal communication with the evaluation of the federal offices regarding the complete investigation of 13 cities (Bari, Bologna, Cagliari, Florence, Genoa, Lecce, Milan, Naples, Palermo, Rome, Salerno, Turin, Verona) - as anticipated at the beginning of August by ANSA, and 14 stadiums: Rome in fact competes with the Olimpico and the project for the new stadium in Pietralata, Naples with Maradona.

UEFA will carry out compliance checks, which cover 11 thematic areas, including infrastructural compatibility, and 120 operational requirements (for example fan services, accessibility, sustainability, media and broadcaster services, security and hospitality). Only subsequently will the Federation proceed to indicate the five host venues.
