Florence, investigations into the death of Lorena Isceri: kidnapping and aggravated femicide

The Florence prosecutor's office has opened a case for kidnapping for the purpose of committing murder and femicide aggravated by premeditation, for the death of Lorena Isceri, killed by her ex-boyfriend who then jumped from the viaduct on the A1, in the municipality of Barberino del Mugello (Florence), last 4 September. Prosecutor Antonio Natale has ordered an autopsy on the two bodies, while for Vella alone, toxicological tests will be carried out to understand whether he had taken anabolic narcotic substances or psychotropic drugs before committing the crime.

The autopsy for Isceri will have to ascertain whether she died before the impact on the ground and whether the bruises found on her body can be traced back to the fall or are prior to the moment in which she was locked in the trunk. The report will be filed in 90 days. The autopsy will begin this afternoon at the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Florence. None of the lawyers appointed their own medical-legal consultants.

"After the medical-legal investigations, Lorena's body will be returned to the family and will then leave for Squinzano, where the funeral will be held on Wednesday or Thursday", announced the lawyer Cosimo Miccoli who is assisting the victim's family. Prosecutor Antonio Natale also ordered the forensic copy of the three seized cell phones to reconstruct, through phone calls and messages, what happened in the weeks preceding the brutal murder.
