Flávio Dino overturns the secrecy of the investigation into film financing about Bolsonaro

Minister Flávio Dino, of the STF (Supreme Federal Court), decided, this Sunday (13), to declassify material from the São Paulo Civil Police that deals with the financing of the film "Dark Horse", which narrates the trajectory of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL).

The data was received from the State Court for Guarantees of Criminal Organizations and Laundering of Assets, Rights and Values ​​of the Central Criminal Court Barra Funda - District of São Paulo.

As a result, the São Paulo State Security Secretariat will have to hand over to the Federal Police all the raw material extracted from the cell phones of the individuals and legal entities investigated in the case.

The order also includes that all computers and other documents be transferred to the custody of the Federal Police, with all legal precautions.

The defense of Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) asked the STF at least four times so that the case would be concentrated solely in the hands of Minister André Mendonça, the first rapporteur on the issue in the court, and not have sections also under the responsibility of Flávio Dino.

In one of the requests, the defense claimed that Mendonça, appointed to the Supreme Court by Bolsonaro, was already rapporteur for two other petitions related to the case.

Part of the investigation, however, is in Dino's hands as it concerns the misuse of parliamentary amendments, a matter that falls under his umbrella.

On Thursday (10), the Federal Police launched an operation against 29 people linked to the investigation into the sending of parliamentary amendments to the film producer

The action was authorized by Dino, precisely in the process that the senator's defense tried to take to Mendonça.
