Flávio proposes social super-ministry with Bolsa Família and 'new mentality'

Announced by Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) in the relaunch of his TV program, this Friday (9), the Ministry of Prosperity should be a "super folder" in the social area.

The objective is to bring together the government's main social programs, including Bolsa Família and BPC, in addition to initiatives that are currently spread across other departments, in areas such as professional training and microcredit.

The final format is still being designed and should be delivered to Flávio next week.

The initial idea is that it replaces the Ministry of Social Development and possibly adds other departments in the social area. Flávio has promised to cut the number of ministries in his eventual government.

The structure is being defined by Filipe Sabará, who served in the Tarcísio de Freitas government, Daniella Marques, the campaign's economic coordinator, and influencer Pablo Marçal – who usually adopts the defense of "prosperity" as a mantra.

Caixa Econômica Federal, which was chaired by Marques in the government of Jair Bolsonaro (PL), should play a central role in financing programs under the umbrella of the new structure.

Flávio has been developing this idea since December last year, when he participated in an event at Marçal's house, in Greater São Paulo, hosted by Sabará.

The new ministry, according to campaign sources, responds to the candidate's speech that it is necessary to change the current government's mentality regarding social programs.

Thus, Bolsa Família, which Flávio promises to maintain, would be an initial step for people to prosper economically, and not an end in itself.
