Gabriel Azevedo, MDB's candidate for governor of Minas Gerais, participated this Friday (11) in a meeting with students at a university in the Center-South Region of Belo Horizonte.

During the agenda, the candidate stated that he intends to make education a priority for the government, if elected.

"I am the son of a teacher and our government's priority will be education. [...] Our priority is learning. It is not about passing the student through the year without them learning, strengthening the appreciation of the teacher, the contact with the university environment and ensuring that everyone truly learns", he stated.

Gabriel arrived at the location around 8am and had 20 minutes to introduce himself to the participants and talk about the government plan's proposals.

During the meeting, he also answered questions from students on topics such as rare earths, public debt in Minas Gerais, housing and security.

Still in Belo Horizonte, Gabriel completed an agenda with members of the National Association of Judicial Analysts (Anajus). Later, he went to the Vale do Aço region, where he met with political leaders in Dionísio.
