Criminal threats against the Prime Minister. 52-year-old arrested by the police

In mid-August, State Protection Service officers noticed content on Facebook containing threats directed against the head of government, Donald Tusk. Information about the case was provided to officers of the Criminal Department of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław.

The police determined that the threatening content was posted from a private profile belonging to a 52-year-old resident of Oława.

As we read in the police statement from Oława, "the officers meticulously collected evidence and carried out further activities to thoroughly clarify the case."

On Monday, September 7, officers of the District Police Headquarters in Oława detained a 52-year-old man at his place of residence. During the interrogation, the man was unable to rationally explain the reasons for his behavior.

The suspect was charged with making criminal threats. He faces up to three years in prison.
