Disarmament condition from Hamas to Kushner: We will accept it if Netanyahu complies

The delegation led by Hamas Political Bureau Head Khalil al-Hayya held important contacts in Egypt. While the Hamas delegation met with Egyptian Intelligence Director Major General Hasan Rashad, they also met with US President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner.

DISARMAMENT CONDITION FROM HAMAS

An unnamed Egyptian diplomat who provided information about the talks held in El Alamein, Egypt, claimed that the Hamas delegation conveyed an important message to Kushner.

According to the diplomat, Hamas stated that it would start implementing the disarmament plan if Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu publicly declares that he will comply with the conditions in the Gaza Peace Board's disarmament plan.

NETANYAHU REJECTED THE PLAN

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had previously rejected the 15-item plan announced by the Gaza Peace Board for the implementation of the second phase of the ceasefire agreement.

Netanyahu also stated that it was not possible for him to change his stance on this issue before the Knesset elections to be held on October 27.

KUSHNER HAD CONTACTS IN EGYPT

Jared Kushner, son-in-law of US President Donald Trump, came to Egypt to hold talks regarding the implementation of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and Trump's Gaza plan.

Kushner was received by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in El Alamein city. During the meeting, the Palestinian issue, especially the Gaza Strip, and other crises in the region were discussed.

EYES ON THE NETANYAHU-KUSHNER MEETING

Kushner, who went to Israel after his contacts in Egypt, is expected to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today as part of his talks in the region.
