He hid 56 hand grenades in the basement in Fruängen - now comes the verdict

The 27-year-old alerted the police himself after he had received the hand grenades. When the police arrested the 27-year-old and found the grenades, it led to other grenade finds being made in other parts of the country.

The verdict will be handed down on Thursday. Prosecutor Sara Stolper is asking for nine years in prison for the man who, according to the indictment, is said to have blackmailed the 27-year-old.

In the case of the 27-year-old, the claim was not as clear in the final pleading. Like the lawyer, she believes that he should receive a reduced sentence, due to his participation in the case.

She has pleaded for the reduction to be at least one third of the penalty value of eight years. So a maximum of five years and four months.

- But in the plea I have left it open because the reduction could be more than that... I have therefore left it to the district court to assess how big the reduction should be, writes the prosecutor in an email to SVT.
