Speaking at the program held at Üsküdar Municipality Wedding Palace Blue Hall, Yazıcı stated that Anatolia was ruled with the Seljuks, three continents were ruled with the Ottoman Empire, and the existence of the state in Anatolia was maintained strongly with the Republic.
Yazıcı explained the "Türkiye Century Meetings" with the following words:
"This nation won the War of Independence in poverty, but all together, as one body against the enemy, under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal, who pioneered that process. Today, we maintain our existence and integrity as the Republic of Turkey, in these lands that we call homeland, these lands kneaded with the blood of our martyrs. With the victory of the War of Independence, a new state was established. The name of this state is the Republic of Turkey. When? Founded on October 29, 1923 "We completed the 100th anniversary of the Republic on October 29, 2023, and we started a new century. We call this century the 'Türkiye Century'."
Emphasizing that they will build this century strongly together, Yazıcı said, "Turkey is a great country, an important country. Look, we are at a crossroads where three continents intersect. Asia, Europe, Africa. Where is Turkey in these three continents? We are right in the heart, at the center. This gives the country a geographical and strategic advantage. Our country has such an important geographical and strategic advantage." he said.
Stating that the factors that determine international relations in the world are economic interests and strategic advantages, Yazıcı stated that energy and its derivatives are at the top of these as of today.
Hayati Yazıcı noted that energy resources, access to energy and processing of energy have an extremely strategic importance, that there are energy resources around Türkiye, at the center, at the crossroads and "this produced energy has a geographical and strategic advantage over the transmission line".
Pointing out that there is a need for another important element that will carry this geographical and strategic superiority forward, make moves, and strengthen its power, Yazıcı said, "Turkey has found that leader. The name of that leader is Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. One of the most important reasons why some circles attack our President both at home and abroad is that he has a position and a stance that will carry this geographical and strategic superiority forward. Politics cannot be done through values. It should not be done. Values." "There are values related to family that make our family strong. There are values that make society, provinces, districts, cities and the whole of society strong, that bind us together. These values belong to all of us. They are not specific to any party." He said his words.
Explaining that, as the AK Party, they added another clause to their statute in 2017, Yazıcı said, "One state, one homeland, one flag, one nation. In other words, just because we added this to our charter, these values belong not only to 'AK Party, those who love the AK Party', but to the whole nation, 86 million." he said.
Stating that everyone will protect and strengthen these, Yazıcı said, "The flag is for all of us, the homeland is for all of us, the state is for all of us and we are one nation." he said.
Yazıcı noted that politics should be continued as a race for projects that will produce solutions to the problems of the nation, and said that politics should be practiced as devotion, and that none of them were registered as members of the parties they were forced to belong to, and that they existed voluntarily.
Stating that one of Türkiye's most important shortcomings in the political sense is the opposition gap, Yazıcı said, "There is an opposition in our country that is not prepared, equipped, or visionary. You all see and know this deficiency. I am underlining it on this occasion. They also serve as a balance and control function." made his assessment.
Hayati Yazıcı emphasized that the AK Party is a party with a stance and that it puts people at the center of its stance and shared the following:
"That's why we try to reflect the motto 'Let the people live so that the state lives' as a reference in our work and behavior. When we say human, we do not make any qualifications. There is no emphasis on ethnic origin. There is no qualification to express the difference of sect, political thought or difference. The basis of our politics is the nation. We do not forget this even in the most difficult conditions. Look, our esteemed President, on the night of July 15, 2016, the night of that brutal coup attempt, when we had the first opportunity to do so. When he appears on television, he says, 'I know no power other than the power of the nation.' He invites the nation to the streets and squares to protect their destiny. The key sentence there is 'I know no power greater than the power of the nation.' We have always believed in this, we have internalized it, and we walk like that. Our politics is inclusive and encompassing. We look at Türkiye as a whole. "We emphasize 'Türkiye' without considering its east, west, north or south."
