23-year-old man found dead with a gunshot wound to the head in Araruama

The Military Police were called around 12pm to an incident on Rua Talismã. At the scene, the police found Cristyan lying on the ground, with injuries caused by gunshots. Family members and residents were at the scene.

The location was preserved for the examination, carried out by an agent from the Araruama Criminal Forensics Sector. After the procedures, the body was removed by a Fire Department team.

According to the incident, no vehicle or motorcycle that could have been used by the victim was found at the scene. There was also no cell phone next to the body. A family member was asked to go to the police station to give a statement.

According to witnesses, Cristyan was involved in drug trafficking in the Fazendinha neighborhood and was known as “Pepa”.

The case was registered as intentional homicide at the 118th Police Station and the 126th Police Station (126th DP) of Cabo Frio also contributed to the investigation of the case.
