Man is arrested on suspicion of keeping woman imprisoned, medicating her and committing sexual violence in DF

The victim contacted the Military Police through Viva Flor, an application that allows women to ask the authorities for immediate help.

The man, whose identity was not disclosed, was taken to the Special Women's Assistance Police Station (DEAM II).

After being called by Viva Flor, the police found the woman at the location indicated. She told the police that she had a friendly relationship with the man, but that she was being prevented from leaving the residence. She had also been suffering sexual violence and threats.

According to the complaint, the man administered medication to the woman at night to take advantage of her vulnerable situation and commit sexual violence.

The woman reported that her personal documents and bank cards were withheld by the man. The objects were located in his possession during the incident.

The man was arrested and taken to the Special Women's Assistance Police Station (DEAM II).
