Man dies after ice cream truck falls into car in Serra, ES

A 58-year-old man died after an ice cream truck tipped over onto a car at the intersection of Rua Euclídes da Cunha and Avenida Norte Sul, in Jardim Limoeiro, Serra, this Wednesday morning (14). The Civil Police confirmed the death, but did not provide details about who the victim was.

Videos recorded by witnesses show the right side of the truck lying on top of the car, which left its left side crushed.

In the images, it is also possible to see a municipal guard isolating the area and an ambulance from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu/192) at the scene.

According to the Scientific Police, the victim's body was sent by Samu ambulance to the Instituto Médico-Legal (IML), in Vitória, where it will be autopsied before being released to family members.

When contacted, Serra City Hall initially reported that the incident was ongoing and that traffic was flowing normally. The report also contacted the police, but had not received any response until the last update.
