Man dies after being stabbed in the neck in Ipuiúna

According to witness statements to the Military Police, the crime would have taken place in Praça Maria Cândida Franco, in the city center.

Santos was rescued and taken to Santa Casa, where he was admitted at around 7:20 pm and died during medical care. The military was called after the victim arrived at the hospital.

The crime suspect was identified and located by police officers in the house where he lives. According to the PM, during the approach, he confessed that he hit the victim and showed the place where the knife was stored in a drawer in the kitchen cabinet.

The weapon was seized by the military and the suspect was taken to the city police station. According to the police, he presented different versions of the crime.

Santos was born in Pernambuco and had lived in Minas Gerais for years. He worked on potato fields. Until the publication of this report there was no information about the burial.
