HONOR Magic V6 design features

The most striking point of the HONOR Magic V6 is undoubtedly its body structure. The phone is only 8.75 mm thick when closed and weighs 219 grams. When opened, the thickness decreases to 4 mm.

These dimensions make the device remarkable not only with its technical features but also with the feeling of daily use. HONOR also states that a new environmentally friendly material is used in the device and offers different color options.

In foldable phones, durability is as important as thinness. Magic V6 comes with HONOR Super Steel Hinge with 2800 MPa steel shield structure. The hinge has been tested for up to 500 thousand folding cycles.

Another important feature of the phone is IP68 and IP69 certifications. According to the information provided by HONOR, the device is water resistant up to a depth of 1.5 meters.

7.95 inch foldable OLED display

HONOR Magic V6 has a 7.95-inch foldable OLED screen on the inside. The screen offers a variable refresh rate between 1-120 Hz and can reach a maximum brightness of 5000 nits.

On the outside, there is a 6.52 inch OLED screen. This panel also supports 1-120 Hz LTPO refresh rate, while the maximum brightness value reaches 6000 nits.

Both screens feature 4320 Hz PWM dimming technology. HONOR also states that it reduces the reflectivity of the screens to 1.5 percent, making the fold mark as invisible as possible.

The presence of pen support makes the 7.95-inch internal screen more useful for taking notes, working with documents and multitasking scenarios.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor

At the heart of HONOR Magic V6 is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 mobile platform. The processor, which comes from the 3 nm production process, comes with Orion cores that can reach an operating frequency of up to 4.6 GHz.

This hardware makes the Magic V6 not only for daily use; making it a powerful option for heavier scenarios such as gaming, multitasking, video editing, and AI-powered operations.

6660 mAh battery and 66W wireless charging

Fitting large batteries into the thin bodies of foldable phones is a significant engineering problem. HONOR Magic V6 uses a silicon-carbon battery with a capacity of 6660 mAh.

While 25 percent silicon content is used in the battery, the energy density reaches 921 Wh/L. HONOR states that it offers up to 24 hours of use even in scenarios using only the internal screen.

On the charging side, there is support for 80W wired HONOR SuperCharge and 66W wireless HONOR SuperCharge.

Triple camera system

HONOR Magic V6 has a triple camera setup on the back. The main camera has a resolution of 50 megapixels and f / 1.6 aperture. This camera also has optical image stabilization support.

The second camera is an ultra wide angle camera with a resolution of 50 megapixels. The third camera is a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens.

The telephoto camera has an f/2.5 aperture and offers OIS support. HONOR also states that this camera offers a CIPA image stabilization value of 6.5.

On the front, there is a 20 megapixel wide-angle camera.
