Message from Director of Communications Duran on combating new generation criminal organizations

Presidential Communications Director Burhanettin Duran said, "We will not allow these structures that threaten our future with a multi-dimensional fight strategy such as strengthening social policies that will protect our children and youth from the exploitation of criminal networks, early detection of risks and supporting families." he said.

In his statement on his NSosyal account, Duran stated that new generation criminal organizations are structures that both threaten public order and target children and young people.

Emphasizing that these structures, which use social media and digital channels as a means of propaganda of crime and recruitment, are a multi-dimensional security problem acting with international connections and financial networks, Duran said:

"The fight against these structures is carried out with a holistic approach with the participation of all levels of our state, from neutralizing criminal elements in the field to bringing organization managers and instigators to justice, from cutting off financial resources to preventing criminal propaganda in digital media.

We will not allow these structures that threaten our future with a multi-dimensional combat strategy such as strengthening social policies that will protect our children and youth from the exploitation of criminal networks, early detection of risks and supporting families.

"Under the leadership of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we will not tolerate any criminal organization targeting the peace of our nation, the future of our children and public order, and we will continue our fight against new generation criminal organizations with determination within the framework of the principles of the rule of law."
