Accident for Charles Leclerc at the Monza GP: the driver is fine

"Everything is ok, I still have a bit of sensations but everything is ok. Only at the beginning I had problems with my eye but now I'm fine. This is the most important thing. As for the accident, "I went on the accelerator and got a snap (a loss of grip at the rear, ed.) and then I lost it. However, I have to review the images. So said Charles Leclerc, speaking to Sky Sport, on the accident that saw him involved on the fourth lap of the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Monza.

The accident occurred on the third lap of the Formula 1 Grand Prix. The Ferrari driver went straight into the bend, crashing into the protective barriers, but emerged unharmed from the cockpit. The driver got out of the car on his own two feet, even though he appeared very shaken. The race judges displayed the red flag, suspending the race for 30 minutes. Leclerc was visited by the medical center after the accident. "He's fine," says Ferrari about his health condition.

The Monegasque, third on the grid, had "touched" Lewis Hamilton's other Ferrari at the start, who lost several positions and had complained about his colleague in the radio team.
