India and Sri Lanka set for Asia Cup final showdown

India have also enjoyed the better overall record between the two sides in T20Is. The teams have met 31 times, with India winning 25 matches, Sri Lanka five and one ending without a result.

India enter the summit clash as the favourites after a dominant campaign and will be chasing a record-extending eighth Asia Cup title. Sri Lanka, meanwhile, have another opportunity to repeat their 2024 triumph, when they stunned India by eight wickets to win their maiden continental crown.

Both sides have remained unbeaten in the tournament, setting up a final in which India's batting depth will meet Sri Lanka's resilience and spin-heavy attack.
