Technical Malfunction in Air Traffic Control System in the UK

Due to technical problems, there were restrictions and delays in some departures at Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted airports in London and Manchester Airport.

Departures could not be made at Gatwick Airport for a while due to technical problems.

In the statement made by Heathrow Airport, it was stated that they were working with NATS to resolve the problem as soon as possible, and that incoming flights were not affected by the problem at this stage.
