The project aims to support businesses affected by the 2016 earthquake through the adoption of artificial intelligence technologies.
Free training courses to help small and medium-sized businesses affected by the 2016 earthquake use artificial intelligence in their daily work. This is the objective of "trAIning", the project presented this morning at the Teatro delle Muse in Ancona and promoted by eleven banking foundations in central Italy with the Polytechnic University of Marche, the Vitality Foundation and the Vittorio Merloni Foundation. The resources, over 650,000 euros, come from the 2016 Earthquake funds collected by the Association of Foundations and Savings Banks (Acri). The project will last until the end of 2028.
We start with the Ai Advisors, eleven young professionals, one for each territory of the Foundations, who will be chosen through a tender and trained by the Management Department (Dima) of the Univpm, which is entrusted with the scientific direction. Then they will go into the field with the companies, together with a "project leader", and will also follow them in the months following the end of the courses.
For companies - as explained by Luca Marinelli, professor and researcher of the Department of Management of the Polytechnic University of Marche and scientific director of the project - there are 60 hours of teaching on six modules, from market research to communication, from administration to data analysis, with particular attention to ethical, privacy and security aspects.
This is followed by 90 hours of project work on a concrete need of each company, with the final verification of the results.
"Today we signed a protocol between interested foundations, Acri and the universities involved with the aim of encouraging the growth and development of local businesses", said Maurizio Frascarelli, president of the Carisap Foundation, which will be the leader of the project.
