Iranian President Pezeshkian said that returning to the Islamabad Consensus was emphasized

Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian said about the memorandum of understanding signed between Iran and the USA on June 17, "Iran emphasizes the importance of returning to the Islamabad Memorandum." he said.

In his post on his account on the US-based X social media platform, Pezeşkiyan made a statement about the memorandum of understanding that was reached with the USA but not implemented.

Pezeshkian said, “Iran emphasizes the importance of returning to the Islamabad Consensus, remaining faithful to the agreed commitments, and states the necessity of providing the necessary conditions for the progress of serious negotiations.” he said.

Pezeshkiyan also said in his post that they appreciated Chinese President Xi Jinping's attitude and support in supporting the return to the memorandum of understanding reached with the USA.
