Harsh Reaction from Iran to the USA: Economic D-Day and Military Threats

US President Trump announced yesterday that he would launch "the most comprehensive economic operation ever implemented against any country" against Iran and warned that severe economic consequences would be imposed on countries that maintain economic relations with Iran.

According to Iranian state television, Revolutionary Guards Army Spokesperson Hossein Muhibbi said that in a possible new war, Iran will use different and "more destructive weapons" than those in the past.

Claiming that the destructive power of the warheads of the missiles used by the Revolutionary Guards is much higher than the examples used in previous wars, the Iranian Spokesperson said, "In case of a new war, our weapons will be completely different from the past. This difference can be seen in the generation of warheads, hit sensitivity, range of missiles or other areas." he said.

Muhibbi argued that Iran has not experienced any pause in weapons production and development, and that his country's military weapons are becoming more sensitive, more destructive and technologically advanced day by day.

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Garibabadi, in his statement on his social media account, stated that the USA, which claims that "Iran is on the verge of defeat and is hanging by a thread", nevertheless asked for help from all its allies.

Stating that the USA made miscalculations, Garibabadi said, "The problem is the miscalculations that they have to cover up every time. For this, they have to create a bigger defeat for themselves." he said.
