Member of Iran's Assembly of Experts Says Khamenei Was Rescued from Bombed Hospital

Member of the Iranian Assembly of Experts, Ayatollah Muhsin Heydari, said that the hospital where Iranian leader Mojtaba Khamenei was taken after being injured at the beginning of the war was bombed and he was removed from the rubble.

In his interview with Al Arabi channel, Haydari stated that Mojtaba Khamenei was injured in the attack on the office of the former leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, and was hospitalized.

Haydari noted that the USA and Israel bombed three hospitals where he could be found, and that Khamenei was taken out of the rubble of the third bombed hospital.

Stating that they learned that Khamenei was in good health in the following period and confirmed his capacity to govern the country and his knowledge of fiqh, Haydari said that they, as the Assembly of Experts, elected him as the leader of the revolution without consulting with any institution or organization.
