Bloody execution in the hospital in Spain: Criminal organization leader Mekin Büyükdeniz was killed

Mekin Büyükdeniz, who was receiving treatment at Joan XXIII Hospital in the city of Tarragona in the autonomous region of Catalonia, Spain, lost his life in an armed attack in the morning.

According to El Caso news; It was reported that the attacker, who was reported to be wearing a bicycle helmet and a hood, entered the hospital, reached the room where Büyükdeniz was located, and escaped after opening fire.

It was stated that Büyükdeniz's partner was also in the room during the attack, and that he survived the attack without any injuries, but was intervened by medical teams due to the shock he experienced.

It was reported that Büyükdeniz, who could not be saved despite the intervention of doctors, died shortly before 03.30.

Büyükdeniz was attacked while walking on the street in Salou, Tarragona, a few days ago. Büyükdeniz, who was injured in his legs, was taken to the hospital after the intervention at the scene and was treated in intensive care. After his condition improved, he was taken out of intensive care and taken to the ward two days ago.

Catalonia police agency Mossos d'Esquadra took security measures in the intensive care room where Büyükdeniz was staying after the first attack. However, the Spanish press wrote that the security risk was evaluated lower in recent days and police surveillance was lifted after a person coming from Turkey started to provide him with personal protection.

In El Caso's report, it was claimed that Büyükdeniz was aware that he had been targeted before and that he thought his enemies would kill him when they got the opportunity, telling healthcare professionals and police.

According to preliminary findings, it is considered that the attacker entered the hospital from the emergency department and escaped from the section where the garbage area is located after the attack. The police examined the hospital's security camera footage.

The report stated that two security guards of the hospital were dealing with another incident during the attack. It is also being investigated whether this incident, which is related to the allegation that a nurse was harassed in the emergency room, was organized to facilitate the entry of the armed attacker into the hospital.

Following the attack, the police took extensive measures, including road closures and checkpoints, to catch the attackers. The identity of the attacker and the person or groups behind the incident have not yet been disclosed.

Police are investigating the connection between Büyükdeniz's first attack in Salou and the murder in the hospital, and who organized the attack.
