Israel: Electoral Commission finds no evidence of fraud in legislative elections

The Israeli Electoral Commission announced on Wednesday that it had found no evidence of fraud affecting the integrity of the last legislative elections, the result of which is contested by the camp of outgoing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

After reviewing the appeals filed by the various parties and carrying out extensive verifications, electoral authorities found “no irregularities or evidence indicating that the integrity of the elections was compromised or that the results were altered,” the commission said in a statement. This update comes a few hours before the publication of the official results of this election which did not result in any majority.
