Election poll in Israel: Eisenkot's bloc is ahead, but there is no majority

A remarkable survey was published before the general elections planned to be held on October 27 in Israel. According to Channel 12's poll, the opposition bloc led by Gadi Eisenkot is ahead of Netanyahu's ruling bloc with the prediction of 54 seats in the 120-seat Parliament, while the Netanyahu front remains at 50 seats; However, neither side can reach the 61-seat majority required to form a government.

EİSENKOT'S PARTY IS IN THE FIRST PLACE

According to the survey, if the elections were held today, Yashar, led by Gadi Eisenkot, would be the largest party in the Parliament with 23 seats. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud Party is in second place with 20 seats.

In addition to the struggle between the blocs, the survey also reveals the importance of small parties for the post-election picture. The 61-seat limit required for blocs led by Netanyahu or Eisenkot to form a government alone cannot be exceeded in the current projection.

Channel 12's poll allocates a total of 16 seats to parties that are not directly aligned with any of the blocs.

BENNETT'S PARTY 13 CHAIRS

The United Arab List is expected to win 5 seats, while The Reservists, Amcha Yisrael and Kahol Lavan are predicted to win 4 seats each.

38 LISTS WILL COMPETE

According to the survey, a total of 38 political lists have registered to participate in the upcoming Knesset elections. 13 of them are expected to pass the election threshold and enter the Parliament.

In Israel, the support of at least 61 MPs is required to form a government in the 120-seat Knesset. For this reason, the picture revealed by the survey is important not only in terms of who will be the largest party, but also in terms of which parties can come together after the election.

Channel 12's survey in question was conducted with the participation of 2,498 people and the margin of error was announced as 4.4 percent.
