Large Traffic Congestion Continues in Istanbul

There is congestion in both directions around the Çamlıca toll booths of the TEM Highway on the Anatolian Side.

Traffic is heavy in the direction of Ümraniye on the Anatolian Side of Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge. The density towards the 15 July Martyrs Bridge starts from Altunizade and extends to the bridge entrance.

Traffic is heavy on the D-100 highway from the Eurasia Tunnel exit towards Maltepe. Vehicles travel slowly at times on the connection roads around Kadıköy, Kozyatağı, Ataşehir and Maltepe.

On the European Side, there is congestion on the D-100 highway from the Golden Horn to Küçükçekmece in the direction of Edirne. Traffic density is also observed in Halıcıoğlu, Okmeydanı, Çağlayan, Mecidiyeköy and 15 July Martyrs Bridge locations.

Traffic is slow in the Beylikdüzü location of the D-100 highway, in the direction of Büyükçekmece, and in the Bahçeşehir location of the TEM Highway, in the direction of Edirne.

While traffic is heavy between İSTOÇ and Mahmutbey toll booths on the TEM Highway, two-way traffic is observed in Hasdal and Seyrantepe locations and Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge.

There is also traffic congestion on the O-3 Highway and the Bus Terminal-Hal road route. Vehicles are also traveling slowly on the Sarıyer direction of Büyükdere Street and the Levent-TEM connection roads.

On the other hand, there is traffic congestion on the coastal road between Karaköy and Beşiktaş Square and around Dolmabahçe Palace.

Due to working hours and rainy weather, public transportation is also busy. While passengers were especially crowded in transfer centers such as Yenibosna, Cevizlibağ and Zeytinburnu, it was observed that the number of passengers waiting at tram, metro, bus and metrobus stops increased.
