Istanbul Police Department Public Order Branch Directorate teams identified a cell house used by the suspects during their field studies regarding the events that took place on different dates in Kağıthane and Eyüpsultan districts. During the searches at the address, an AK-47 long-barreled rifle, 3 magazines of this rifle and 50 7.62 millimeter cartridges, as well as an unlicensed 9-millimeter gun, 2 magazines and 71 9-millimeter cartridges were seized.

According to the information obtained, it was claimed that the suspects came to Istanbul from outside the province for the purpose of assassination and were preparing for an action in the house they rented. It was claimed that their target was a businessman who was known in sports, arts and social circles as well as in the business world.

According to the investigations, there was a search record of B.A.; It was learned that S.D. had 4 wanted records and a finalized prison sentence of 12 years and 15 months, T.İ. had 2 wanted records and a finalized prison sentence of 7 years and 6 months, and A.E. had 4 wanted records, a finalized prison sentence of 10 years, 32 months and 99 days and 31 criminal records.
