In fake advertisements published on social media, money was requested from citizens to the account number opened in Evli's name. 27 fraud complaints were filed in various provinces such as Sakarya, Antalya, Bursa, Ankara and Istanbul against Evli, whose IBAN number was used in various fraud cases such as rental bungalows and rental cars published on social media. Evli, who has 17 investigation and 10 prosecution files against him, continues to serve his sentence in Kilis Prison due to the prison sentence he received from three of the files. Hatice Evli, the mother of Abdurrahman Evli, who became bedridden after the traffic accident he had 5 years ago and could not walk and bend his knee despite 12 surgeries, said that she now wants to stand up, be with her children and hug her son again.

Saying that her son, whom she claims is innocent, is in prison and the criminal is walking around outside, Hatice Evli said, "I am the mother of Abdurrahman Evli, who is on trial for 250 years. I had a traffic accident 5 years ago. Since then, I have been lying down and cannot get up. Even though I have undergone 12 surgeries, I cannot walk, my knee remains stable and I cannot bend it. My son's experiences took me even further back psychologically. My surgery process was also negatively affected due to the distress and stress I experienced. Now, I want to regain my old health. "I want to get up and take care of my children and go back to work. I am very sorry for what my son has gone through. I believe that my son has been in prison for four months. I want that person to be caught as soon as possible. My health has worsened due to the sadness and stress I have experienced. I want to get healthy and hug my son again."

Stating that his wife was bedridden due to a traffic accident and his son was in prison, father Harun Evli stated that he continued his struggle despite the difficult conditions and said, "I am in a very difficult situation right now. My wife has been bedridden for 5 years and has had 13 surgeries. I want our state to take action on this situation. I do not want anything material or spiritual. Our only wish is for my son to be reunited with his mother, we think that my son is in prison innocently and we want him to be released as soon as possible. I am a person who works for minimum wage. I go to work." When I go home, my wife is hungry and thirsty. She can't even get up and drink a glass of water. My 7-year-old daughter, who is in the first grade of primary school, is trying to help her mother as much as she can. Sometimes, while I'm at work, my wife calls and says she needs to go to the toilet. I don't know what to do. My wife's foot condition is getting worse every day. I'm confused about whether I should go to work or take care of my five children. "I am in a very difficult situation. We see that the other person who we think caused my son to be in prison is outside," he said.
