Security Measures Are Increased in Schools in Istanbul

Stating that security measures in schools are carried out under the coordination of the Ministry of National Education and the Governorship of Istanbul, Yentür said:

- There will also be detectors in all our schools in Istanbul this year. When deemed appropriate, necessary searches, inspections and checks will be carried out with detectors in risky areas.

- In addition, in order to make our schools safer, the 'school police' application will be carried out more carefully and more frequently this year. We have a coordinated 'school police' practice in all our schools.

- Some risky schools will also have 'school police'. Each school will have a 'school police' who is in contact with them, can be reached instantly and follows the school. This practice will continue in cooperation with our school principal.
