KPSS Field Knowledge sessions start tomorrow

According to the statement made by ÖSYM, the 1st session of KPSS License Area Information (Public Administration, International Relations, Labor Economics and Industrial Relations) will start tomorrow at 10.15, and the 2nd session (Law, Economics, Finance) will start tomorrow at 14.45.

Candidates will be given 150 minutes of response time in both sessions. The first session will end at 12.45, and the second session will end at 17.15.

The third session of KPSS License Area Information (Business, Accounting, Statistics) will be held on Sunday, September 13, at 10.15. Candidates will be given 160 minutes of response time. The third session will end at 12.55.

Candidates will not be allowed into the exam buildings after 10.00 in the morning sessions of the exam and after 14.30 in the afternoon session. Disabled candidates who are deemed appropriate to use additional time during the sessions will be able to use 30 minutes of additional time.

Exam results will be announced on October 7

In the KPSS Field Knowledge sessions, candidates will answer the questions of the relevant tests according to their session preferences in the application. In the exams, candidates will be asked 40 multiple choice questions and will be given 60 minutes for the Statistics test and 50 minutes for the other tests.

Provincial and district civil registry offices will be open on exam days for candidates who have lost their ID card, do not have an ID card, or do not have their ID number and photo on their ID card. Exam entry documents showing candidates' location information where they will take the exams are now available at ÖSYM's "ais.osym.gov.tr" address.

Exam results will be announced on October 7. KPSS results will be valid for 2 years from the date of their announcement.

Candidates who take the 2025-KPSS and want to apply for Group A positions will be able to take the 2026-KPSS to increase their scores if they wish.

201 thousand 203 applications to Field Knowledge sessions

ÖSYM President Prof., whose opinions were included in the statement. Dr. Bayram Ali Ersoy stated that KPSS Field Knowledge sessions will be implemented in 35 exam centers in 30 provinces.

Ersoy said, "A total of 201 thousand 203 applications were received for the first session, 56 thousand 575 for the second session, 84 thousand 944 for the second session and 59 thousand 684 candidates for the third session. Of the candidates who applied for the first session, 30 thousand 833 were women and 25 thousand 742 were men. In the second session, 49 thousand 109 female candidates and 35 thousand 835 male candidates applied. "And 33 thousand 974 female candidates and 25 thousand 710 male candidates have applied for the third session." gave the information.

Stating that the KPSS Field Knowledge sessions to be held at the weekend are an important stage in terms of evaluating the professional knowledge and competencies of the candidates, Ersoy said:

"483 buildings and 7 thousand 274 halls will be used for the exams. 25 thousand 551 people will work in the sessions. 3 thousand 26 security guards will be on the field for exam security. A total of 683 disabled candidates will participate in the three sessions. Veterans who applied for the Field Knowledge sessions and spouses and children of martyrs and veterans were exempt from the exam fee, and 1683 candidates benefited from this right. 33 candidates who were convicted or detained and applied for the exam attended the Field Knowledge sessions.
