Jordan Bardella receives support from an Israeli minister in the face of accusations of anti-Semitism from Mediapart

At the heart of numerous criticism after Mediapart claimed that he had made anti-Semitic remarks in 2013, Jordan Bardella received symbolic support from Israel on Tuesday. An Israeli minister has in fact defended the president of the National Rally.

Jordan Bardella “is one of the clearest voices in Europe against Hamas”, wrote on “He visited the Nova site and communities near Gaza. He met survivors. He spoke in Jerusalem against anti-Semitism,” he added, referring to places in southern Israel attacked by Hamas.

A very right-wing Israeli government

The minister, who is part of the government of Benjamin Netanyahu, one of the most right-wing in the history of Israel, also published a photo showing him shaking hands with Jordan Bardella on the site of the Nova music festival, the scene of a massacre on October 7.

The investigative media Mediapart published Monday anti-Semitic messages dating from 2013 that it attributes to Jordan Bardella. Expected to become Prime Minister of Marine Le Pen in the event of her victory in the presidential election in 2027, the president of the RN denied having written these writings and announced a defamation complaint.
