Jordan Bardella wants to attract LR elected officials to the RN after the senatorial elections

The expression dates from 2017 and it comes from Édouard Philippe, then prime minister of Emmanuel Macron. “Letting the beam work is often the way to keep it out of sight,” he said about his former party, Les Républicains (LR). Today, Jordan Bardella would like to use the same metaphor about this right that he is trying to fracture a few months before the presidential election. The objective is simple: bring LR back to himself and his party, the National Rally (RN). The day after the senatorial elections, which resulted in the arrival of 12 new nationalist senators, the president of the RN even wanted to drive the point home after this “victory”.

“It is obvious that many elected officials close to the Republicans voted for the National Rally. I hope that this announces a future recomposition,” says the young thirty-year-old, promised to the post of Prime Minister if Marine Le Pen ever manages to conquer the Élysée in 2027…
