Statement from Jorge Jesus about Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo is the agenda of the Portuguese National Team, which continues its way by making 4 out of 4 in the UEFA Nations League. The star football player, who started among the reserves in the away match against Norway and did not take any time despite warming up, reacted to this decision and left the national team camp.

Portugal, which hosted Norway in its fourth match in the group, beat its opponent 2-1, and after the match, coach Jorge Jesus made evaluations about Ronaldo.

Jorge Jesus said about Ronaldo: "I don't know what will happen, everything is clear to me. He must decide his future before he is called up to the national team. If he plays and wants to be in the national team, he can return whenever he wants. Why not? It was a misunderstanding and I think it is easy to resolve. In my opinion, everything is fine. I don't know when it will be resolved, we will see."

"HE WILL MAKE THE DECISION"

The experienced coach continued his words as follows:

"I want him to stay. He knows that this has an end, that it will not last forever. But I want him to finish his national team career the way he wants. He will make the decision. We talked about this. At his first national team invitation, I said to him, 'I need you. I need you whether you play or not.' he said. The same thing applies now."

"IF HE WANTS TO RETURN TO THE NATIONAL TEAM, HE WILL BE CALLED TO THE NEXT SQUAD"

Jesus also explained, "For me, this was never a problem at first. As a coach, it was something I accepted as normal. In my opinion, if Cris plays for Al Nassr and wants to return to the national team, he will be called up to the next squad."
